New Facebook Page!

Hey everyone!

We're trying to gauge everybody's interest in the event and, thanks to the help of Dana M. Weise of Nor-Cal Conventions and Mel Van Buren (who initially notified Dana about PIO), we have a brand new Facebook page up and running! Jump to the end of this post for the link!

Putt It On 2010

Hello everyone!

I'm Brian Jackson and I'd like to welcome you to the blog for this year's brand-new, experimental cosplay event: Putt It On!

With Putt It On we hope to utilize a new sort of venue for the world of cosplay: the miniature golf course! It may sound strange at first (I prefer the word unique), but we're convinced that it's sure to be an absolute blast and an incredible, fun-filled summer night.

Not only will each and every one of you be able to play unlimited mini-golf in (just about) whatever cosplay attire your heart desires, we'll be doing much, much more as well! During the four-hour event we will feature:

• Unlimited Video Arcade Access
  
• A Cosplay Costume Contest
• A Raffle Featuring Prizes from Local Retailers
• Dinner, Dessert and Unlimited Drinks
  
• And More!

We also understand that financially the times are very trying and that events like this are not always on the top of people's "wish list." With that we decided to keep the price of the event at what we hope is an affordable one: $20 pre-registration (before May 13th) and $25 (after May 13th).

Our main goal is to provide a unique (see, there it is!) cosplay event for all to enjoy and for all to remember. We believe that as a community it's important that we come together through these hard times and discover that some of the best things in life happen when you're in the company of another.
